President: Dua Bangash
Hi everyone! My name is Dua Bangash, and I’m honored to serve as your President for Beta Alpha Psi this semester. I’m a senior double majoring in Accounting and Management, and I currently work as an Accounting Assistant at a local firm, handling everything from business registrations to taxes. After graduation, I’ll be starting a full-time role in Deloitte’s Audit practice in Fall 2025, and I’m also working toward earning my CPA license this year.
I joined Beta Alpha Psi in Spring 2024 and knew from then I wanted to contribute as much as I could to this organization. My experience inspired me to get more involved, and I’m excited to help foster that same sense of community for others. My goal this semester is to help students—whether they’re looking for internships, guidance, or friendships—find the connections and resources they need.
Outside of accounting, I love skating, cooking, playing video games, and spending time with my friends. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or just want to chat!

Vice President: Albert Perez
Hello candidates and members!
My name is Albert Perez, and I am grateful to serve as your Vice President for Spring 2025. I am currently a senior, graduating in December 2025 with my bachelor’s degree in accounting here at USF. Outside of accounting, I like tinkering on cars and also I have a degree in music from USF, so I like music.
Although not I am not part of a cohort, I’ve had the chance to develop professional relationships and take part in the invaluable networking opportunities that Beta Alpha Psi has offered me. Treasurer: Priyanka Gupta
Hi Everyone! My name is Priyanka Gupta, and I am honored to serve as your Beta Alpha Psi Treasurer for Spring 2025. I am currently a senior majoring in Accounting with an economics minor. I plan to intern with Deloitte in Audit and Assurance during Winter 2026. I also serve as a Peer Leader for the Corporate Mentor Program at USF. Joining Beta Alpha Psi has provided me with ample opportunities to work on myself to become a better and more confident version of myself. I have been fortunate enough to connect with so many professionals and peers who have helped me through this journey.
Aside from school, I spend time sketching, reading, and hanging out with friends. I also like to work out on weekends and love to dance mostly Bollywood. I plan to come back to USF after my internship to get my master's degree in Accounting and Analytics all while pursuing my CPA license. The smooth and enriching experience I received as a candidate inspired me to give back to this organization for the next batch of candidates. Secretary: Nina Tran
Hi, I My name is Nina Tran. I am a senior at the University of South Florida, majoring in Accountancy and Analytics, and I plan to graduate in May 2026. As the Secretary of Beta Alpha Psi, I am dedicated to ensuring effective communication, maintaining organized chapter records, and fostering a collaborative environment for our members. I am passionate about helping my peers develop professionally and preparing them for success in their academic and career journeys.
In addition to my role in Beta Alpha Psi, I work as a Tax Associate at H&R Block and as a Tax Preparer with the IRS VITA program, where I apply my tax knowledge and gain practical experience. My long-term goals include earning my CPA license and pursuing a Master’s in Accounting at USF. In my free time, I enjoy learning Spanish and playing the piano, as I believe in balancing professional growth with creative pursuits. Reporter: Sean Muller
Hello everyone! My name is Sean Muller, and I am serving as BAP’s Reporter this semester. I am currently a senior at USF and will be graduating with my bachelor's in December 2025. I plan to sit for the CPA exams starting in January 2026, and hope to pass all the exams and have my 150 credits by July 2026. Moreover, I plan on joining KPMG as a Tax Intern this upcoming summer in their Manhattan office.

IS Director: Aram Chan
Hello everyone! My name is Aram Chan and I am very excited to be your IS Director this semester. Currently I am a junior at USF pursuing my bachelor's degree in accounting. Following this,I hope to also study at USF in the Master of Science in Accountancy and Analytics program and obtain my CPA.. Other than accounting, I love taking care of animals, cooking, reading, and playing video games with my friends.
When I joined Beta Alpha Psi as a candidate in the 2024 fall semester, I found a community of like minded people and a board of officers devoted to helping them along their journey. In the coming semester I hope to work with my fellow officers to help maintain this environment for new candidates and members. Faculty Advisors

Jennifer Cainas
Jennifer M. Cainas is a professor of instruction at the Lynn Pippenger School of Accountancy and currently serves as the Associate Dean for Financial Management and Business Operations for the Muma College of Business at the University of South Florida. Jennifer currently teaches large, mass lecture classes for introductory financial and managerial accounting.
During her teaching career, Cainas has taught and mentored over 25,000 business students and has won numerous teaching awards at the college, university, state, and national level, including the J. Michael and Mary Anne Cook/Deloitte Foundation Prize in 2024. She is also the faculty advisor for the Delta Gamma Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi and received the national outstanding faculty advisor award sponsored by RSM, both in 2023 and in 2013.
Cainas completed her Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Florida and bachelor’s and graduate degrees in accountancy at the University of South Florida. She is also a licensed CPA in the State of Florida.

Luke Richardson
Luke Richardson is an associate professor of instruction and Kerkering Barberio Fellow in the Lynn Pippenger School of Accountancy. He teaches courses in taxation of individuals and business entities and is a past recipient of the Advisory Council’s Outstanding Teaching Award. He also serves as a faculty advisor for the Delta Gamma chapter of Beta Alpha Psi.
Richardson, a licensed CPA and lawyer in Florida, worked with Deloitte prior to taking his position at the university. He serves as an editor and author on Pearson’s Federal Taxation textbook and has published articles in practitioner journals such as Tax Notes, The Tax Adviser, and the Journal of Accountancy. He also continues in his professional practice and has been featured as a tax expert in many print and television news media outlets.
Richardson completed a juris doctorate at the Stetson University College of Law and bachelor’s and graduate degrees in accountancy at the University of South Florida.
